SKIING WITH A NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION

Having a neurological condition I was a bit sceptical about signing up to a training regime but Alan convinced me to join and I haven’t looked back. Skiing is my passion so Alan has devised a regime for me to increase the strength in my legs so I can comfortably ski off piste without fatigue. I am not really into the gym and have always preferred playing sports than strength exercises but Alan has good bants which helps the 6am sessions and if you like the office and Alan Partridge as well as wanting to increase strength and fitness then I highly recommend to “sign and recline!”

After cycling for a couple of years and reaching a plateau in performance, I approached Alan who really took on board my strengths and weaknesses. He wrote a personalised structured training plan which fitted my lifestyle, focused on my objectives and targeted planned events. The training plan incorporated elements of strength, mobility and targeted training on the bike, whilst giving me time to continue with the riding on the road that I enjoy. Alan has an incredible understanding of body mechanics, which he feeds into his training to get the best out of his athletes. He is a genuinely great guy, a pleasure to train with and is really pushing me to the next level in performance.
